Biblio-Files November 2017
So in the thick of crazy. Most nights I fell sound asleep within minutes. C’est la vie.
1. Ruby by Cynthia Bond. Meh. I didn’t love it. It was shocking in may parts, heart wrenching and incredibly well written, but sometimes you are just not feeling such a depressing book. It was so depressing. Typical for an Oprah book and you’ll despise humanity after reading it. So depressing.
2. The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarty. An engaging story and pleasantly distracting at a time when I am so busy. Perfect for my mood when I needed to unwind at night.
3. Nefertiti by Michelle Moran. Last month I mentioned that there are some authors of historical fiction whom I would read every word they ever wrote. Michelle Moran is the first author I thought if after I wrote that sentence. I love her writing. This was an amazing book and I was incredibly inspired by it as a designer as well. Read it. And all of the rest of her books.
